Network Rules

Rust Server Rules

Rules and guidelines for Duskfire Rust servers. These apply in addition to our global network rules.

Last Updated: January 2026
Fair Play

No Cheating

No hacks, scripts, exploits, or third-party tools that give an unfair advantage. This includes but is not limited to: aimbots, ESP/wallhacks, recoil scripts, speed hacks, fly hacks, and resource/dupe exploits.

Violations result in a permanent ban. We do not unban for cheating.

Bases

No Griefing

Griefing as a whole is not allowed. Allow other players to enjoy the game without being hindered.

  • No blocking monuments, vendors, or other map features with no gameplay purpose
  • No foundation wiping or TC griefing without raid intent
  • No excessively large or laggy bases
  • No despawning loot
Teams

Respect Team Limits

Respect the team limits set by the server. Do not team up with other players beyond your declared team size if the server has team limits.

  • No alliances, teaming, or cross-teaming with other players outside of your team size if the server has team limits
Communication

Chat & Voice

Keep chat and voice appropriate. No slurs, hate speech, excessive toxicity, or spam. No mic spam, soundboard abuse, or ear rape. English is the primary language unless the server states otherwise.

  • No advertising other servers, Discord, or websites
  • No political or inflammatory bait
  • No spamming, trolling, or intentional disruption
  • No inappropriate or sexual signs
  • No doxxing or stalking
Integrity

Exploits & Bugs

Do not abuse known bugs or exploits. If you find a bug, report it to staff instead of using it. Using exploits for gain can result in a ban and rollback of progress.

  • No abusing or exploiting bugs or glitches
  • No attempting to crash or lag the server
Enforcement

Staff & Appeals

Follow staff instructions in-game and in Discord. Arguing with staff in chat will not help. If you believe you were banned in error (excluding cheating), you may appeal via the support or appeal process listed on the website or Discord.
